Largest-ever rail project kicks off near Poland-Czech border
Poland’s industrial hub of Upper Silesia will soon see its largest-ever rail investment. Major reconstruction works around the regional capital of Katowice are starting as soon as next week, part of the 1.6 billion-euro-upgrade to the vital E 65 line. But newly built rail stations, stops, and tracks mean there will be some changes to schedule over the next four years.
