Belgium suspends key rail link to Europe
Belgium has closed a key high-speed rail line between Brussels and the French border for two and a half weeks due to major renovation works that in total will take about ten years. With Eurostar and TGV services diverted to standard rail lines for now, passengers travelling between Brussels, France, and the UK will face noticeably longer journey times.
