Spain’s big investment: Adif pledges over half-a-billion in rail upgrades
Adif, Spain’s railway infrastructure company, announced more than half a billion euros worth of upgrades to Spain’s rail network this week. The slew of investments include electrifying an ailing northeastern line, maintenance to the system’s electrical installations, and modernising a junction essential for freight traffic in the southeast, among other key projects.
