Prague to Munich in 8 hours: Czechia upgrades rail route to Germany

Modernisation of the Czechia line from Pilsen to Domažlice to the German border
The line from Pilsen to Domažlice to the German border is set for an upgrade.

Czechia railway infrastructure operator Správa Železnic (SZ) has selected the companies that will handle the reconstruction of the railway route between the Czech town of Domažlice and the state border with Germany. The project is part of plans to significantly improve connections between Czechia and its neighbour’s southern regions, especially Munich.
