‘Inadmissible’: Why did Stadler withdraw from multi-million contracts in Bulgaria?
The Polish division of Swiss rail manufacturer Stadler has pulled out of two lucrative train contracts with the Bulgarian government, with transport minister Georgi Gvozdeykov blaming the deal’s breakdown on Stadler making demands it claimed were impossible to meet.
