Passenger train and rail freight services back on track in Germany

Train traffic was largely back to normal in the early hours of Tuesday morning in Germany following one of the largest rail and transport strikes in recent history. Regional traffic was first to start back up, followed by commuter trains, freight traffic and long-distance trains.

“On track”, but regrettably, on a no longer optimal…
(Standards, already at earlier century not optimal, now are devastating!)
1.
All other modes, those serious and sustainable, are with redundancy and with resiliency…
2.
“Voids” and “hung sleepers”, now attended – by “optimal maintenance” (repairing) – is sub optimal, etc.
3.
Electrification, at a vital part of society…, has to be be redundant,
etc., etc.!
