CER urges Brussels to reduce price on low-cost energy and protect railways

The Community of European Railway and Infrastructure Companies (CER) stresses that railways need to be shielded from “skyrocketing” electricity prices in order to ensure the financial viability of the sector. It proposes a further reduction of proposed price cap for low-cost electricity.

Hm…, “skyrocketing” energy prices should add to advantage – of the “green” device…
(All other devices, except railways, upgrade, for higher capacity – and lower costs…)
Standards, timely when steam was shifted out no longer are!
“Optimal maintenance” is good, but optimal infrastructure is better – and the requested!
“Squats”, cracks, broken rails, is not acceptable, when clients no longer afford ignoring importance of safe “eta”, etc.!
